COVID-19 Information

updated November 2020

We are excited to welcome you back to Snickers Gap Christmas Tree Farm!

The Safety of our crew and guests is our highest priority. We have created a pledge to share our commitment to our guests and to ask for your commitment to support our policies in order to provide a safe environment for all.

Our Pledge to You

Our crew is trained in CDC guidelines for hand washing and sanitizing and handling food — at the parking lots, at the main shed, and in the field.

  • When social distancing is not an option and inside our buildings, our team will wear a face covering.

  • We will support social distancing by limiting wagon rides to seniors with disabilities and those with special needs.

  • Plexiglass barriers at point of sale areas in place for your safety and ours.

  • Frequently touched surfaces are sanitized regularly during operation.

  • Social Distancing is required. We ask groups to remain at least 6ft apart when in our fields and throughout the farm.

Your Pledge to Us

Social distancing and sanitation guidelines protect you, as well as our other patrons and employees, and you agree to take responsibility for social distancing your family from other groups while visiting.

  • If you are sick, have been exposed to COVID-19 in the past 14 days, or have symptoms of COVID-19 (including a fever, cough, or shortness of breath), you will not enter the farm.

  • You will heed VA. Governor Northam’s Mask Mandate and wear a face covering inside our barn and when around others outside of your family unless you meet one of the Governor’s health exemptions.

  • You agree to wash/sanitize your hands and assist your children in doing so.

  • For the Friday after Thanksgiving (Nov 27th) and on weekends when we are busy, you agree to complete your visit within a 2 hour window so we can allow all customers to safely park and select their tree.
We are open weekdays at 12 noon until dark to allow for longer and less crowded visits.
