A quick update for Joel and the other family that was thinking of coming to the farm today - at 8:15 this morning it is around 36 degrees and we have rain/sleet seemingly starting to turn to more snow. The forecast for Bluemont is still for 4-8 inches of snow, your guess on whether that happens is as good as mine. We will open the gate around 10:30 or so, you're welcome to come visit and find your tree! We've had steady rain all night, so the fields will be wet, the trees wetter and it is possible that the country road leading to the farm and our entrance and parking area will have snow. If you have all-wheel or 4 wheel drive, bring it along with boots and wet weather gear - moving through the wet trees is like going through the rain forest.
We are closed on Thanksgiving Day, and will formerly open on Friday, November 28th at 9:00 am. Feel free to call, text or email with any questions or comments.
