Good morning, a foggy sunrise greets us here at the farm, but the forecast is for a pleasant December day with temperatures perhaps approaching 60. We have our hot Rinker's cider awaiting you in the main barn, where we also have our fresh made on the farm wreaths, garland, honey, cider and a variety of tree stands for sale.  Finn's Snack Shack will be cooking up their delicious hot pretzels and hot dogs, and they also have snack items and drinks for sale.
Our friends from Bluemont Vineyard will be on hand with tastings of their local wines and farm neighbor Glenowen Farms will have their natural, pasture raised Angus beef for sale.
Bring gloves perhaps a plastic tarp on which to place and pull larger trees, we don't go into the fields to assist with trees and no vehicles are allowed in the fields.
Your pickup truck or heavy duty bungee cords, cam straps or ratchet straps make securing your tree to a car roof quick, easy and foolproof.  Otherwise, we have plenty of heavy duty twine with which to practice your tying expertise.  Dogs are welcome so long as they are kept on leash and cleaned up after.
We look forward to seeing you today at the farm!
