The first orange of sunrise is in the sky, and we're up getting ready for a fun day at the farm, opening at 9am. Weather will be great for a country day hiking in the trees, temperatures will be in the mid-40's, some sun and clouds with a occasional breeze. We have a great selection of our Mountain Slow Grown Douglas Fir and Colorado Blue Spruce up to 9', with many taller. At the sales barn come get a taste of our renowned hot Rinker's cider where we also have truly fresh, exquisite wreaths, an array of different tree stands, local honey and pine roping for sale.
Finn's Snack Shack under the big green tent will be serving up their famous soft hot pretzels, hot dogs and hot chocolate as well as offering snack items and drinks. Our friends from Wild Hare Cider will be here with tastings of their various brews and Lothar Erbe will have his artisan sausages & meats available to sample and purchase.
Please remember to clean up after your pet so that we can continue to allow dogs at the farm, and if you are intent on a very large (11' or taller) Colorado Blue Spruce, bring 3 or 4 strong men to haul it in from the fields as we simply cannot assist you on weekends.
